Tweetup at Amateur Garden Club on 3 Jun from 4 - 7pm!

We are holding our monthly Gig Harbor Tweetup at the Amateur Garden Club on June 3rd from 4-7pm, located at 4107 Harborview Drive. RSVP Here! Melanie (a.k.a. @NorthwestMel) is in charge of the festivities this month. The Amateur Garden Club was the oldest garden club on the peninsula, organized on March 12, 1926  and existed until the mid-‘90s. They hired C.O. Austin Mill to build a vertical log cabin where members could meet — and they used the building until the ‘50s. Today, the Amateur Garden Club is a great little coffee shop near the Gig Harbor History Museum. It's located in that same log cabin that the Amateur Garden Club originally met in. The name was chosen to pay tribute to the building's previous occupants.
